Software Deployment and Management [Infographic]

Software deployment and management -it’s just so simple and easy to make sure that you’re getting the right software on the right systems for the right users, and making sure that you’re keeping it updated and keeping track of all the licenses so you don’t get audited. If you’ve ever had to deploy and manage software on more than just your personal computer, you should be rolling your eyes about now.

Software deployment and management is a huge PITA.  The problem is, it’s not something you can put on the back burner, especially considering the fact that software vendors are getting  serious about software licence audits and fees; there are rewards for information about software piracy, license breech fees are on the rise, and companies are increasingly facing multiple audits. Software deployment isn’t just about deploying, but managing the actual software as well.
